VALLEY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

Sarah Philpott graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan and went on to earn her PhD from The University of Tennessee. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Sarah taught in Athens City Schools and at The University of Tennessee. She’s also been published in academic journals, professional books, and has written several devotional and children’s books.

Sarah is married to Perry Philpott. They are the proud parents of Titus, Sophie, Beckham and Stella: all VCA students! They live on their family farm in Englewood and attend Englewood First Baptist Church where Perry serves as a deacon. They also volunteer in the children’s program.

Sarah loves to read, travel with her family, plan trips, and spend time outdoors. She also helps out in their family businesses.
