Dovie Moses
6th- 8th Grade ELA Teacher
Dovie earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Literature with a focus in Secondary Education from Middle Tennessee State University.
Dovie comes to us with 19 years of teaching experience in private Christian schools. She has developed her own literature curriculum through a Christian worldview for 45 novels. She has also served as the college and career counselor for a local school.
Dovie has been happily married to Brad Moses for 24 years. God has blessed them with 7 children, 3 of whom will be attending VCA this year! Together, they attend Englewood First Baptist Church where she has been the Co-Children’s Director for 18 years and teaches 1st-3rd grade.
Dovie enjoys spending time with her family, reading the classics, and playing the fiddle. Dovie says, “Teaching is how I tell Jesus I love Him. It is worshipful, and beautiful, and I hope it brings a sweet sound to His ears.”
