5th-8th Grade Math Teacher
We are blessed to have Mrs. Gill as our 5th-8th Grade Math Teacher. Math has always been Mrs. Gills' favorite subject to teach and she is excited to share that excitement with her students.
She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with degrees in Food and Nutrition and Elementary Education. She comes to us with 19 years teaching experience. Mrs. Gill spent 3 years teaching first grade in Hamilton County, 2 years in third grade at Grace Academy (Chattanooga), and has home-schooled her own children for the past 14 years, while also teaching with VIPKid (teaching Chinese children to speak English).
She is married to Danny and together, they have four children; Brittany, Nathan, Tabitha, and Isaiah. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and gardening.
Mrs. Gill's favorite verse is Psalm 9:1-2: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
