Dana Moody

Dana Moody will be joining our high school team, teaching Chemistry, Personal Finance, and Computer Science.
Dana has been involved in education since 2005 when she completed her Bachelor's degree at Tennessee Wesleyan College and began teaching English at a local high school. She later earned a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Instructional Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University and has served in several roles in both public and private schools, including the initial faculty at VCA when it launched in 2017.
Dana is married to Michael Moody, who is also a Tennessee Weselyan alum. Michael coached college baseball for around 10 years at TWC and Lee University. He now works as an insurance agent at Farm Bureau Insurance in Athens. Dana and Michael have three children: Cammy, Carson, and Braden, all of whom attend VCA.
The Moody family has attended Eastanallee Baptist Church since 2019. For fun, they enjoy watching their children compete in athletic events and horse shows. They are grateful for VCA's commitment to teaching from a biblical worldview and providing the individual attention each of their children needs.
